Privacy Policy

Date: June 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dama Code For Information Technology ("Dama Code", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use Hadd Lock App ("Hadd Lock App", "Hadd", or the "app").

Hadd Lock App is a native iPhone and iPad Screen Time support tool. It helps an authorized Parent or similar responsible user configure restrictions on a linked device. The app uses Apple's individual Screen Time authorization flow on the linked device. It is not a replacement for Apple Family Sharing, Apple account-level family controls, Apple's built-in parental controls, active supervision, or direct communication with the linked device user.

You may only link or manage devices when you are the parent, legal guardian, or another person with lawful authority and responsibility for the device user. You are responsible for providing any notice, consent, or permission required by law.

How We Use Data

Hadd Lock App is built with privacy in mind. Normal app use does not require your name or email address. We do not sell the limited data we process. We use limited operational data as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, sync, and improve the app, including linked-device features such as syncing settings and restriction state between authorized linked devices. Where possible, this data is anonymous or pseudonymous and may be associated with app, device, or pairing identifiers. Some laws may still treat these identifiers as personal information. We use Firebase services provided by Google, including Google Analytics for Firebase where enabled, to operate, secure, measure, and improve Hadd Lock App. The sections below provide more detail about the data involved in specific features and how it is handled.

Linked Device Names and Avatars

Linked-device names and avatar choices are stored locally in the app. They are not stored on our servers.

These local labels may be stored on the device where they are created and may be backed up or synced through Apple Keychain when the user's Apple settings allow it. Apple's own terms and privacy practices apply to Apple account and Keychain syncing.

App Limit Labels and Screen Time Selections

Hadd Lock App does not store readable app names for App Limits on our servers. When an App Limit name is saved, it is encrypted on the linked device before being stored in our cloud systems. Our servers store only the encrypted payload, not the readable app name.

Like any security measure, this encryption is not a guarantee against all risks, especially if a device is compromised, stolen, jailbroken, unlocked without permission, or is used in a way that bypasses normal iOS security protections.

Schedule Names and Shield Messages

When a Parent creates or edits a schedule or prayer-time rule, the schedule name and any shield title or message are stored in our cloud systems, synced to the linked device, and displayed on the linked device's Screen Time shield.

Do not enter sensitive or private information in schedule names or shield messages, including medical, financial, location, school, address, phone number, legal, account, religious, or personally identifiable information. Use short, generic messages only, or keep using the app's generic default shield message.

Screen Time Access

Hadd Lock App uses Apple's Screen Time-related permissions and APIs. Restrictions are applied through Apple's own system controls.

The app only works while the required permissions remain enabled. A device user may be able to remove permissions, change settings, unpair the device, or delete the app. Hadd Lock App cannot control a device when required permissions are removed, disabled, denied, or restricted by the device user, Apple, iOS, or system settings.

App Account Data

Hadd Lock App is designed with a privacy-first approach. Normal app use does not require you to create or use an email-and-password account. The app uses an anonymous or pseudonymous app account by default, created through Firebase Authentication, a Google service, to operate linked-device setup and pairing records, subscription access, security, support, account deletion, and related app services. This anonymous or pseudonymous account may include a Firebase user ID and related technical records. Depending on applicable law, technical identifiers such as Firebase user IDs, app identifiers, device or installation identifiers, authentication records, and related usage records may still be considered personal information. Firebase is provided by Google, and Google’s handling of Firebase services is subject to Google’s applicable terms, policies, and privacy practices.

Users may optionally use Sign in with Apple when they choose to use an account feature that requires Apple-backed authentication, including account backup, restore, adding another user, joining an existing account, or account deletion verification. Sign in with Apple is an Apple-provided authentication service. Apple handles the authentication process, and Apple’s handling of that process is subject to Apple’s privacy practices. When Sign in with Apple is used, Hadd Lock App may link the current anonymous or pseudonymous Firebase Authentication account to Sign in with Apple, or sign the user in to an already linked Apple-backed Firebase account. Hadd Lock App does not ask you to create an app password or manually enter an email address. Hadd Lock App does not receive or store your Apple ID password. We use the Sign in with Apple authentication result only as reasonably necessary to verify the account and allow access to the selected account feature.

Location for Prayer Times

Hadd Lock App is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not save the location used for prayer-time calculations on our servers.

If prayer-time features are used, the linked device may request location permission to calculate local prayer windows.

Notifications

Hadd Lock App uses push notification services so a linked device can receive paired updates.

Analytics

We use analytics to understand general app usage and improve the product. Analytics may include general feature activity, such as how schedules, lock settings, restrictions, App Limit settings, and other app settings are used.

Google Analytics may process technical identifiers, such as app instance identifiers, Firebase installation identifiers, analytics identifiers, or device-related identifiers, to recognize an app installation or device over time and provide analytics services to us. Google Firebase and Google Analytics may process technical identifiers and related data under Google's own terms, policies, privacy controls, and service settings. Depending on the service configuration, device settings, consent choices, and Google's policies, this processing may include measurement, service improvement, personalization, advertising-related services, or similar purposes. We do not control Google's independent processing.

Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment processing, billing, refunds, cancellations, and subscription management, and Apple’s applicable terms and privacy practices apply to those Apple-managed services. When the app checks, restores, or keeps paid access active, Apple StoreKit may provide subscription confirmation details such as transaction identifiers and signed transaction confirmations. The app shares those details with our cloud systems only as needed to verify subscription status, restore paid access, prevent subscription or trial abuse, and keep paid controls in sync across the app account and linked devices. We do not use them for advertising or tracking across apps or websites.

Local PIN

The linked-device app PIN is a local app gate. The app stores a local hash of the PIN on the linked device and does not send PIN digits or PIN hashes to our cloud systems.

Support Communications

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send. The app may prepare a support email on your device with a small diagnostic block. You can review the email before sending it through your email app and delete any diagnostic details you are not comfortable sharing.

Third-Party Services

Hadd Lock App relies on trusted third-party services to operate the app, such as Apple services, Google Analytics, Google Cloud, and Firebase.

These providers may process technical data as needed to provide their services. Their processing is also governed by their own privacy policies, terms, and service controls, and their independent uses may be different from our uses described above.

We may disclose app data to service providers, Apple or Google services, linked authorized devices, legal or safety recipients when required or appropriate, and parties involved in a business transfer.

Linked Device Users

Hadd Lock App is intended to be set up and managed by a Parent, legal guardian, or other person with lawful authority over the linked device.

If you use Hadd Lock App to manage a linked device, you are responsible for having legal authority, providing any required notice, obtaining any required consent, and following family, school, workplace, privacy, and monitoring laws that apply to you.

If you believe information was provided or handled without proper authority, contact us so we can review and delete applicable data where required.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect app data.

No app, network, server, or device can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If someone gains access to your device, a linked device, or a related account because it is lost, stolen, shared, jailbroken, or otherwise compromised, information already visible inside the app may be visible to them. We are not responsible for access caused by device or account issues outside our control.

Delete Account

You can delete your Hadd Lock App account from the app settings. Follow the in-app Delete Account flow to remove the account and linked records associated with it.

Data Retention

We keep app data only as long as needed to provide the app, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, protect security, and support normal operations.

Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, purchase records, provider systems, or legally required records.

Legal Bases

Depending on applicable law, we may use app data to provide the app and subscription service, protect security, prevent fraud or abuse, provide support, enforce our Terms, comply with law, respond to lawful requests or legal process, protect rights or safety, and complete a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Where consent is required by law, you are responsible for obtaining valid consent before linking or managing another person's device.

Your Choices

You can control Apple permissions such as notifications, Screen Time authorization, and location through iOS Settings.

You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

You can delete linked devices or accounts through the app or delete the app from a device.

You can request help reviewing, correcting, exporting, or deleting app data by using available in-app account deletion options or contacting us at the email address below. Some requests may require verification of your identity, device, account, or legal authority, and some data may be retained where allowed or required for security, legal, operational, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Website Hosting and Browser Privacy Signals

Our public website and policy pages are hosted, delivered, and protected through Cloudflare. When you visit those pages in a browser, Cloudflare may process technical request data such as IP address, browser or device information, cookies or similar technologies needed for delivery and security, and traffic or security logs to provide hosting, performance, security, DNS, and related website services.

Cloudflare's own privacy practices and terms apply to Cloudflare's services. You can review Cloudflare's Privacy Policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ and Cloudflare's Website Terms of Use at https://www.cloudflare.com/website-terms/.

Hadd Lock App does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals because the app is not operated as a browser-based tracking service. We do not use our website pages to sell personal information.

Not a Replacement for Apple Family Controls

Hadd Lock App is not a replacement for Apple Family Sharing, Apple account-level family controls, Apple Screen Time parental controls, or Apple's built-in parental control tools.

If you need full Apple-level parental control, supervision, or child account management, Hadd Lock App may not be the right app for you. We recommend using Apple Family Sharing, creating a child Apple Account, and managing Screen Time through Apple's built-in tools.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will show when it was last changed. If we make a material change that affects your privacy rights or protections, we may provide notice in the app when you next open Hadd Lock App, where required or appropriate. You may be asked to review the updated Privacy Policy and, if required, accept it before continuing to use the app.
